Question 1

Is Bujet.ing free?

Accepted Answer

Yes - free, with no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Optional cloud sync is included and is end-to-end encrypted with your own passphrase.

Question 2

Where is my financial data stored?

Accepted Answer

In your browser's storage on this device. If you turn on cloud sync, an encrypted copy that only your passphrase can open is stored in the site's Cloudflare KV - the site owner can never read it.

Question 3

How does device-to-device sync work?

Accepted Answer

Sign in with any email and a passphrase on each device. Your data is encrypted in the browser before upload. The passphrase has no reset, so keep it safe - your local data is never touched by sync.

Question 4

Does Bujet.ing work on iPhone and Android?

Accepted Answer

Yes - it is a website, not an app. Open it, add it to your home screen, and your budget follows between devices with encrypted sync.

Question 5

Can it track a mortgage with an offset account?

Accepted Answer

Yes - link an everyday or savings account as an offset to your home loan and every forecast uses the offset balance to cut the interest you pay.
